Infamous “Kushan Sir” of Oman Embassy arrives: arrested at the Airport

The third officer of Sri Lankan embassy in Oman E.Kushan who was accused of molesting women has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department at Katunayaka AirPort this morning.

He was arrested on this way when he arrived in Sri Lanka from Muscat, Oman, on an early morning flight.
Based on the information that he is coming to Sri Lanka today, the Criminal Investigation Department officials who were waiting at the Katunayake Airport arrested him and it is said that he is currently being questioned.
This suspect is currently under suspension and his diplomatic passport was also banned.
The police had also decided to obtain a red warrant through the Interpol for his arrest on the basis of serious suspicion that this officer, who is accused of sexual harassment of women, selling women into slavery, certificate fraud and financial fraud, will flee to another country to avoid arrest. Sources say that after realizing this, he has decided to come to Sri Lanka.
After the investigation, he will be produced before the court.
