The first Randoli Perahera of the Esala Festival at the historic Temple of the Tooth in Kandy is scheduled to take to the streets today (30).
This time the public will not have the opportunity to watch the procession due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the procession is to be conducted giving priority to traditional customs and traditions.
Meanwhile, the last Kumbal Perahera of the Kandy Perahera was held last night (29).
