The head office of the Central Cultural Fund, located at No. 212/1, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07, has been relocated to a building in Ahayarama prewmises in Narahenpita, where the Ven Muruththettuwe Ananda is the chief incumbent with a monthly rental of 1.25 Million Rupees.
It is reported that the building is being repaired by the employees of the Central Cultural Fund.
A spokesman for the Central Cultural Fund told Lankasara that the relocation was made temporarily due to renovations at the head office.
Currently, the administration of the fund is attached to the building.
The building had previously been used as an office of the People’s Front. The CCF is under the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is the subject minister
