The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has announced a one-week extension for individuals who were unable to submit their asset and liability declarations by today (June 30).
In response to an inquiry by Mawbima.lk, a Commission official stated that declarations can now be submitted until 12:00 midnight on July 7.

The extension was granted after the Commission’s website experienced disruptions due to a high volume of users attempting to submit their declarations online simultaneously.
June 30 had previously been designated as the final deadline for submitting asset and liability declarations to the Commission.
Speaking to the media recently, Director General Ranga Dissanayake stated that all individuals required to submit declarations must do so within the stipulated period. He warned that those who fail to comply with the requirement will be subject to penalties, including fines.
