Royal Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd., a leading elderly care services provider in Sri Lanka, was honoured with the Platinum Award for Best Healthcare Provider of the Year in the Large-Scale category under the Healthcare and Allied Services Sector at the Business World International Awards (BWIO), 2024. The award was presented to Resident Managers Vijitha Kariyawasam and Mohamed Arshat at the grand ceremony held recently at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.

Having won multiple national and international awards over the years, Royal Nursing Home continues to stand out in the healthcare sector. Receiving four awards this year alone reflects their commitment to quality, customer trust, and industry leadership. Established in 2007 with a small team, Royal Nursing Home has grown to become Sri Lanka’s largest nursing care provider. Today, it operates luxury nursing care centres in Maharagama, Mount Lavinia, Kaduwela, Hanwella, and even London, United Kingdom. Under the leadership of its founder and chairman, Mr. Manuja Hewawasam, the organisation now employs over 1,600 professionals, including doctors, matrons, nurses, and other healthcare staff. Equipped with modern facilities and a strong focus on compassionate care, Royal Nursing Home is approved by the Sri Lanka Private Healthcare Regulatory Council and is the first and only elderly care centre in the country to receive ISO 9001:2015 international quality certification.
