In a significant development, Mr. Imtiaz Bakeer Marker has officially resigned from the position of Chairman of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and all other roles within the party. It has been reported that his resignation letter was formally submitted to the party leader, Sajith Premadasa, and the General Secretary.
