Reports indicate that Dr. Bellana arrived at the hospital accompanied by police officers due to concerns about his safety.
Junior staff members of the hospital staged a silent protest within the hospital premises, expressing their dissatisfaction with Dr. Bellana’s return to work under police protection.
Sources reveal that some junior staff members wore black armbands as a symbolic protest while continuing to provide essential patient care services.
A hospital spokesperson stated that the junior staff members have decided to remain off duty until Dr. Bellana is removed from his position at the National Hospital, emphasizing their stance on the matter.
