Harin Fernando, the new Sports Minister, assured the Court of Appeal today (28) that no further action would be taken concerning the interim committee until the next court date. This assurance was given in connection with the petition filed by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board against the gazette notification issued by former Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe.
As a result of this promise, the proceedings were postponed, and the Court of Appeal scheduled the next hearing for December 5th.
