Malaysian authorities have initiated a police investigation to locate two Sri Lankan suspects believed to be involved in a triple homicide. This incident unfolded in a house on Perhentian Street in Lower Temple Village, Sentul, Malaysia, on Friday (22) night.

The police have taken the step of releasing photographs of the two suspects in a bid to aid their apprehension. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid informed the media that both suspects had been residing on the house’s second floor prior to the murders.

At approximately 11 PM on Friday (22) night law enforcement discovered the lifeless bodies of three men inside the house. The victims were found with their hands bound and heads covered with empty plastic bags.

Among the deceased were two tenants who had been renting rooms within the premises, while the third victim was the 20-year-old son of the Sri Lankan couple. The victims’ ages ranged from 20 to 40 years.

Addressing the media at a press conference held at the Sentul District Police Headquarters yesterday (23) the police chief detailed the sequence of events. He stated, “The neighbors reported the killings to the police after hearing screams like a fight from the Sri Lankan tenant’s house. This 40-year-old Sri Lankan couple and their son have known these suspects for six months… They came from Klang. It is reported that these two persons stayed at their house for two days…”

The police strongly suspect that the two individuals had premeditated the murders, although the motive behind the altercation remains under investigation.

Authorities have invoked Section 302 of the Penal Code to conduct the investigation into the killings. The bodies have been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
