A British national who was holidaying in a hotel in the Aranwala area of Ahangama died suddenly while sleeping in the hotel roomAhangama police said.
The deceased is a 74-year-old British national named Unity Kindami. He had come from a hotel in the Weligama area on the afternoon of 03rd February to the hotel in the Ahangama area. He has occupied in a room in the hotel but has not ordered any food or drink from there.
The next day (04) as he did not come out of the hotel room the owner of the hotel looked through the window of the room, the foreign national was sleeping on the bed.
Even after knocking on the door and windows of the room, he did not wake up, so the Ahangama police station was informed about this. By then, the foreigner had died and his body was taken to Karapitiya Hospital for post-mortem examination.
