A group of ambassadors and high commissioners representing Asian countries in Sri Lanka visited Jaffna on the 10th.

During this visit, the group studied the measures taken following the separatist war to improve the living and economic conditions of war widows.

During this visit, the group visited Jaffna’s women-operated meat processing centres, palm and palm-related product processing centres, and many food security projects.

This group of diplomats has expressed their appreciation for the various projects that have been launched for the widows following the war.
