Sri Lanka has recorded its 21st Covid 19 death. The deceased, a 40 year old male was a resident of Mahara. According to the government information department the death had occured at the Welisara Hospital. He had been admitted to the hospital on October 23 for high blood pressure and breathing difficulties.
The first PCR test had come out negative. However a PCR carried out on the person following his death has tested positive for Covid 19.
