The newly opened Queen’s Hospital Medical Centre, located in Ratmalana, is setting new standards in private healthcare with state-of-the-art facilities and compassionate services. Equipped with the latest medical technologies, including advanced ultrasound, echo, and X-ray machines, the hospital ensures patients receive precise and timely test results to address their health conditions effectively. The hospital is home to a team of talented and experienced medical officers, supported by skilled nurses and other healthcare professionals, who are committed to providing excellent care. Patients can access OPD treatment for an affordable fee of just Rs. 550. Additionally, until 31 January 2025, Queen’s Hospital offers a 50% discount on X-rays for patients undergoing the procedure. For patients receiving ultrasound or echo tests, there is a 50% discount on hospital charges.

On 29 January, the hospital will hold a special medical camp to support the community. Free health screenings, including tests for cholesterol, diabetes, and heart-related conditions, will be offered to the attendees. Participants are requested to register in advance to secure their spot. During the camp, medical officers will identify health conditions and guide patients toward appropriate treatment plans. Understanding the challenges faced by families, Queen’s Hospital has also introduced a daycare service for elderly parents. This service allows children to attend to their commitments, such as trips or work, while ensuring their parents are cared for in a safe environment under the supervision of medical professionals. Patients from Ratmalana and surrounding areas, including Kalutara, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Moratuwa, Katubedda, Maharagama, Attidiya, and Piliyandala, no longer need to travel to Colombo for high-quality medical care. Through convenient e-channeling services, individuals can select their preferred doctor and visit the hospital at their convenience, saving time and money.
