Nobody can avert a food crisis now – Agri Minister says

Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says that no immediate solution can be found to the food crisis that has arisen even though Sakraya’s son Waima has arrived at this time.

The Minister said that the shortage of rice will be severely affected after October and as a solution to this, about tons of rice will have to be imported on the credit facility given from India.
