Nathasha Edirisooriya of Fool’s Pride was arrested !

Nathasha Edirisooriya, a self-proclaimed creative content strategist was arrested last night over the charges of disrespected remarks on Lord Buddha and Buddhism in her comedy show. The Criminal Investigation Department arrested her at the Bandaranayake International Airport when she was trying to leave for Singapore last night.

She has been taken for interrogation and will be produced for judicial procedures later the police sources said.


In a show performed by him, Moodabhimanaya (Fool’s Pride) she made certain disrespectful and defamatory remarks on the early life of Buddha and Buddhism, was under heavy criticism among the public.
