Indian fishermen were arrested with a major haul of drugs!

Ramanathapuram Police in Tamil Nadu arrested two Indian fishermen and a resident of Mannar who was transporting a consignment of various types of drugs from India to Thalaimannar, worth about 1100 million Indian rupees (about 3250 million Sri Lankan rupees).

This drug stock was being transported with the help of a fishing boat, and other drugs including opium, marijuana, hashish, Kerala ganja, and ganja oil were found in this boat.

They were arrested based on information received by the intelligence wing of the Ramanathapuram police, and steps have been taken to present the three suspects and the stock of drugs to the Ramanathapuram court.
