Controversial MP who was caught recently with smuggled gold and mobile phones, Puttalam District Member of Parliament Ali Sabri Rahim left for Dubai again last night on the 25th for a visit sources said.
He was arrested on the 23rd and fined 7.5 million when he arrived at Katunayake airport from Dubai illegally carrying gold articles worth 75 million along with 91 mobile phones.
An official at the Katunayake airport said that the Member of Parliament left for Dubai yesterday at around 8:50 pm on a plane Flydubai Airlines.
