Former Deputy Minister Palitha Thewarapperuma has passed away in an accident. He was 64 years old at the time of his death.
Palitha Thewarapperuma, whose political journey began as the former chairman of the Matugama local council and a member of the Western Provincial Assembly, endeared himself to the public as a politician who remained closely connected with the people throughout his career.
