The Puttalam Magistrate’s Court yesterday (23) granted a detention order to the police following a request made by them to detain and interrogate the Excise Controller for three days who was arrested in Puttalam with ICE drugs.
The Excise Controller was arrested by the Puttalam Divisional Anti-Corruption Unit on the 23rd on suspicion of being involved in a drug trade.

According to the Police Headquarters, 125 grams of ICE was also found in his possession.
