Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has successfully completed is arthroscopic surgery in Melbourne, Sri Lanka Cricket Medical Committee Chairman Prof. Arjuna de Silva told to NewsWire website.
Knee arthroscopy is surgery that uses a tiny camera to look inside the knee. Small cuts are made to insert the camera and small surgical tools into your knee for the procedure.
According to Prof Arjuna his surgery which was done by renowned Australian surgeon Dr. Mark Blackney is successful and now he is recovering.
“We are hoping to get him to action in 3 months” Prof. Arjuna de Silva has said.
