Discussions begin for formation of an all party government !

Several political parties have begun discussions on the formation of an all party government under a new Prime Minister by the 20th of next month political sources revealed.

According to the sources, the talks have begun between a group of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, the Samagi Jana Balawega, the Jathika Jana Balaweka and the independent parties in the government.

Dhammika Perera, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Maithripala Sirisena and Sajith Premadasa’s names have been nominated for the new Premiership, the sources said.

Although there were discussions on the Premiership, the National People’s Power and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya are of the view that the President also should resigned together with PM and move the country forward for a definite period of time under a new all party program.

The aim of the new program is to establish an all party government consisting of all parties and to establish political stability as the country has not been able to go to the polls in the face of the crisis.
