Boy becomes first student to pass scholarship in one Jaffna school after 35 years

S.Thabishran of the Kaddupulam Government Tamil Mixed School has become the first student from the school to pass the Grade 5 scholarship exam in 35 years. He has passed the exam by obtaining 179 marks. The school is severely underprivileged and lacking resources.
