AG to file Xpress Pearl compensation case Monday in Singapore!

The Attorney General’s Department is to file a case in Singapore tomorrow (24)claiming compensation for the environmental pollution caused by the Xpress Pearl ship which caught fire and sank near the port of Colombo on May 20, 2021. The ship caught fire causing the greatest marine environmental damage in recent history valued at around 6.2 Billion USD.

The Attorney General’s Department says that this environmental pollution compensation case is scheduled to be filed before the Singapore Commercial Court tomorrow (24).
