Rev. Fr. Ernest Poruthota known for his contribution to Sri Lankan Cinema and catholic communications field has passed away today at a private hospital in Colombo. He was 88 years old at the time of his death. He was a founding member of the Film Critics and Journalists Association of Sri Lanka, formed in 1968. His final rites will be held on Thursday (18) in Katukurunda.
