Local berry brand Berry Much has organised a special event titled ‘Berry Much in Nuwara-Eliya’, set to take place in Nuwara Eliya from 16 to 27 April, offering visitors a unique lakeside experience with food, fun, and fresh produce. The event will be held near Gregory Lake, featuring Sri Lanka’s first floating berry-themed restaurant. The event will feature a 12-day celebration that combines fresh produce, fun activities, and lakeside views. The main feature of the event will be a floating restaurant where every dish is made using fresh berries grown in Nuwara Eliya itself, including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and gooseberries.

The aim is to offer locals and tourists a unique dining experience that highlights the freshness and flavour of locally grown berries. In addition to the floating restaurant, visitors will be able to stop by the Berry Stall onshore, where they can enjoy product sampling, discounts, and interactive berry-themed games. Daily giveaways will also be up for grabs for anyone who tags @berrymuch.lk on Instagram and uses the hashtag #BerryMuchInNuwaraEliya. The event is being promoted in collaboration with Legends 96.6 FM, which will feature Berry Much throughout the season with radio segments, shout-outs, surprise giveaways, and on-air challenges offering hampers and vouchers. Berry Much is currently the only local brand in Sri Lanka offering the full range of berries and is certified free of harmful chemicals and heavy metals. All produce is grown in the cool climates of Nuwara Eliya, ensuring freshness and safety. The campaign aims to boost awareness of locally produced berries while giving holidaymakers a fresh new reason to visit Nuwara Eliya during the April season.
