Prominent social media activist Rathindu Senaratne (Ratta) has been named as the suspects in a case relevant to May 9 attack on peaceful Galle Face protesters by the police and reported to court yesterday (17), the Police Headquarters announced.
The Fort and Thalangama Police have observed that the suspects had committed a number of offenses under the Penal Code and the nine suspects have been identified as suspects in the incident and have been reported to court, police said.
