In line with the monthly revision of retail fuel prices, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices for September.
The price of 92-octane petrol has been reduced by Rs. 6, bringing the new price to Rs. 299 per liter. The price of 95-octane petrol remains unchanged at Rs. 341 per liter.
A liter of diesel has been reduced by Rs. 6, with the new price set at Rs. 283. Meanwhile, the price of super diesel has been reduced by Rs. 12, making the new price Rs. 313 per liter.
It has been further confirmed that the price of kerosene remains unchanged.
