President Appoints 10 New Ministry Secretaries

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed 10 new ministry secretaries, each for key ministries in the government. The newly appointed secretaries will be overseeing the following ministries:

1. Ministry of Education – Vasantha Perera
2. Ministry of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reform – N.M. Ranasinghe
3. Ministry of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation – Gunadasa Samarasinghe
4. Ministry of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure – A.C. Mohammad Nafeel
5. Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Provincial Affairs – P.P. Yasaratne
6. Ministry of Irrigation – Saman Darshana Padikorala
7. Ministry of Environment – B.K.P. Dr. Chandrakeerthy
8. Ministry of Power and Energy – Dr. Sulaksha Jayawardena
9. Ministry of Transport and Highways – Engineer Ranjith Rubasinghe
10. Ministry of Technology – Dharmasiri Kumaratunga
