A disease which causes paddy crops to turn yellow is being reported in the Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kurunegala districts.
According to S.R Sarathchandra, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Paddy Research Institute, Batalegoda said they have already discovered the cause for this.

He said that the disease of yellowing of paddy crops could be controlled if identified at an early stage.
