Sri Lankan student Fathima Zaireen Inam S. Moulana has won the Gold medal at the International Science Technology & Engineering Competition held in Indonesia recently. It was the first time Sri Lanka participated in the international competition.
Zaireen is a student of the Kalmunai Mahmood Balika Ladies College. Fathima Zaireen represented Sri Lanka in the competition at which students from 24 countries participated.

She was also the national winner of the competition conducted islandwide by the National Science Research Foundation in 2018.
