Senior Journalist Sydney Chandrasekara passed away today (14) morning while receiving treatment in hospital. He commenced his career as a journalist from Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and was a past pupil of Ananda College in Colombo.
Chandrasekara created many popular teledramas in Sri Lanka and held many important positions in the field of media in the country. Sydney Chandrasekara was also a lyricist. He was 61 at the time of his death.
