Number Portability service has been approved by the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, The president’s spokesman Kingsly Rathnayake says. All mobile phone subscribers will be enable to bear their mobile numbers even if they change their service provider with this approval.
This was announced by the Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission Oshadha Senanayake at a media briefing held at the Presidential Media Center today.
