On the advice of the Attorney, General CID informs the Speaker that statements will be recorded from seven MPs over the incidents at Galle Face & Kollupitiya. The CID has requested the Speaker to direct them to the CID if they are present in Parliament today. The AG has told the CID to arrest Johnston Fernando, Sanath Nishantha, Sanjeewa Edirimanne and 22 others if ample evidence is available against them.
