Samagi Jana Balawegaya the main opposition presented a draft proposal for the 21st amendment to the constitution to the Parliament today. It was presented as a Private member proposal by the party’s secretary general MP Ranjith Maddumabandara.
According to the SJB sources the draft has proposals to repeal 20th amendment and strengthen the 19th amendment to the constitution. It has prepared in consultaions with the eminant legal experts of the country.
