Six families in Mannar and Jaffna who visited relatives at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center have been placed under quarantine in their homes since yesterday (11) by health officials.
Accordingly, eight persons belonging to three families from Uppukulam in Mannar, and seven persons belonging to three families in Jaffna have been quarantined for 14 days, according to Deputy Director of Health Services (Northern Province) P. Ketheeswaran.
