Security has been tightened in Akurana area of Kandy following information received on a possible attack on a mosque.Police sources said that Ministry of public security had informed police about the information and appropriate security has been provided .
Additional Police teams have been deployed and Army has also been informed to be on standby, a senior police officer told to lankasara .
