The proposal involves collaborating with licensed agencies to bring qualified Japanese teachers, including retired educators, to Sri Lanka.

Minister Nanayakkara emphasized that maintaining high education standards is crucial. “Ensuring this facility is available only through licensed recruitment agencies is crucial. This measure aims to maintain a high standard of education, ensuring that our youth can compete on an equal footing with international counterparts,” he said.

The Minister has urged prioritizing this proposal to enhance international employment prospects for Sri Lankan youth, believing it to be a significant step forward in enriching their skill set for the global job market.
