Jaffna University Medical Student Goes Missing

A final-year student from the Faculty of Medicine at Jaffna University has been reported missing by his parents to the Jaffna Police yesterday (05).

The missing student, hailing from Anuradhapura, has raised alarm bells due to the prolonged inactivity of his mobile phone over the past few days. In their search for answers, the student’s parents visited Jaffna University but found no information regarding his whereabouts, prompting them to file a formal complaint with the Jaffna Police.

The police report indicates that the student had been residing in a dormitory affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Jaffna University. His friends, who shared the dormitory with him, are equally baffled by his sudden disappearance.

Jaffna Police have initiated an investigation into this concerning incident.
