The Kollupitiya Police have commenced investigations into the incident where a chef was injured in a gas explosion at the Ramada Hotel in Colombo last Monday, Daily Mirror reported.
Police said that the chef suffered minor injuries when a gas pipe connected to the kitchen stove exploded early Monday morning.

The chef injured in the incident has been admitted to hospital for treatment. He was discharged from the hospital yesterday (04). It is reported that the hotel management has decided not to provide any information in this regard.
