Former Navy commander Karannagoda new North Western governor

Former Navy commander, Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda has been appointed as the new Governor of the North Western Province to fill the vacancy left by the late Raja Collure.

He led the Sri Lanka Navy in the victorious war.
