A Dutch national tourist, Mulders Serge, aged 49, was injured and admitted to Badulla Hospital for treatment after falling from a train in Sri Lanka. The incident occurred between Nanuoya Railway Station and Ambewela Railway Station while Mulders Serge was travelling from Kandy to Badulla.
