The family has four children. Two children are employed, one is a mason and the other is a child motorcycle service worker in Horagasmulla.
The youngest child is studying in grade 7 at Galkanda Seelavimala Junior College. The principal of the college said that he had not been to school since the school was closed on March 11 due to the Covid epidemic due to a leg injury.
