For the first time in Sri Lanka, the Colombo Municipal Council building is being lit up in pink in the night to create awareness about breast cancer.
The initiative is being carried out by the Indira Cancer Trust along with the CMC. The program was launched on October 2 by the Mayoress of Colombo, Rosy Senanayake.

The CMC will light up in pink for a month to create awareness about the disease among the public, particularly among the women of Sri Lanka.
