Association of Medical Specialists of Sri Lanka expressed their concern on arbitrary approval of Chinese covid jab Sinopharm despite the independent panel of experts of NMRA has declined to approve it citing inadequate scientific data.
Approval of the emergency use of Sinopharm has been carried out by newly reconstituted board and Medical specialists describe this decision as an unprecedented step disregarding the safety, efficacy and the immunogenicity of the vaccine.
