Vinod Khosla, an American billionaire with Indian descent, has pledged $ 10 million to help solve India’s massive oxygen crisis. Vinod Khosla, the founder of Sun Microsystems’ IT business, has previously provided financial assistance to help patients with oxygen deficiency in the face of the Covid epidemic in India, he said in a Twitter message yesterday, announcing that the Khosla family would donate millions of dollars to the crisis. The Khosla Family is adding $10m to @GiveIndia to it’s previous commitment as a match and hoping others will join in this urgent need. There is large and very urgent needs & a day’s delay costs lives. One day at one hospital without oxygen had 8 people die gasping for breadth!
Founded in 1982 by four people, including Vinod Khosla of Sun Microsystems, it was sold in 2009 to Oracle for $ 5.6 billion.
