A person has come to Medirigiriya which is approximately 300 Kilo Metres away from his home town Hikkadaduwa in search of a gas cylinder. According to this person he had taken this ride with a Trishaw in order to find gas that is vital for his brother’s tourist business.
The man had said that he had come to Medirigiriya to buy a gas cylinder for his brother’s tourist hotel in Hikkaduwa.

The owner of the gas agency had taken action to provide him with a gas cylinder by holding the three small cylinders hostage.
