A Jaffna passenger dies on Melbourne Colombo UL flight

A 75-year-old passenger who was on board in Colombo-bound Sri Lankan Air Lines flight that was flying from Melbourne Australia died on the way.

The deceased was an elderly resident of Jaffna.
The police said that SriLankan Airlines’ U.L. – Flight 605, this passenger died shortly after take off.
At that time, the pilots made arrangements to fly the plane to Katunayake instead of diverting to Melbourne.
The police stated that the dead body has been sent to the Negombo Hospital mortuary.
