The new 20 rupee coin issued to mark the 70th anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka was presented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Prof. W.D. Lakshman was presented to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (24).
This is a commemorative coin issued to mark the 70th anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The coin is made of nickel-plated steel with a 7-sided shape. The Central Bank of Sri Lanka announces that 05 million coins will be added to the currency circulation from March 03.
