District Secretary of Gampaha Sunil Jayalath says that 119 people infected with corona are hiding in the Gampaha District. He said that operations were being carried out in collaboration with the security forces to find the patients. Jayalath also said that problems have arisen regarding the addresses given by the infected persons.
According to Jayalath 5357 PCR tests have been conducted in the district and results of 1770 tests have been received. He said out of this 970 have tested positive for Covid 19 but 119 patients cannot be found and a search is being conducted with the assistance of the security forces and law enforcement officials.
