Hundreds of villages in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu have been inundated by torrential rains for the second day in a row due to Cyclone Burevi. Around 300 villages in the Cuddalore district alone have been inundated and the power supply to Rameshwaram and Ramanadapuram districts has also been disrupted. Also, 07 deaths were reported in Tamil Nadu due to the effects of the cyclone
